About Us

Our History

We have the Produce Trade in our DNA, with previous generations and family members part of the Commercial Chinese Growers Federation, allowing us to provide high-quality, freshly harvested produce for same-day delivery.
Our business has a history in market gardening for over 100 years, coming from a long line of high-class fruiterers dating back to the early 1920s in Palmerston North, Marton, Hastings and Masterton. It began in the Otago Gold Fields, with a combination of Chinese commercial growers helping develop the business over time.

Our History

We have the Greengrocer gene in our DNA, with previous generations and extended family members being part of the Commercial Chinese Growers Federation. This knowledge and experience handed down over generations enable us to provide high-quality, freshly harvested produce for same-day delivery.

The foundations of our business have deep roots in market gardening, extending back over 100 years.

We are proud to come from a long line of high-class fruiterers dating back to the early 1920s in Palmerston North, Marton, Hastings and Masterton.

Our New Zealand history began in the Otago Gold Fields, with a combination of Chinese commercial growers helping develop the business over time.

Our Commitment

Our commitment to our customers is to provide them with fresh produce at a fair price and then deliver it to their homes.

We work as fast as we can to ensure that the produce keeps its freshness and that our customers do not have to wait too long for their order to be delivered.  All our produce is stored and packed in a chilled room.

To support our customer service we use 100% electric vans which enables us to provide our free delivery service.

Customer satisfaction is important to us that's why all orders come with a 100% money-back guarantee.

Our Taupo-based company aims to become the North Islands centre for healthy and exceptional produce. We deliver to our customers the freshest, tastiest fruit and vegetables sourced throughout New Zealand, coupled with a particular devotion to buying in-season produce.

Live green and live fresh.
